Home Organising
The first step to organising is to edit. With my helpful guidance we can sort through your things and decide what you would like to donate, recyle, and keep and then create storage solutions.
Wardrobes
Going through wardrobes is normally the hardest area to declutter because there's a memory attached to each piece.
The way I work with clients is the Marie Kondo model, if it doesn't bring joy or make you feel good then it might be time to donate.
Kitchens & Pantries
The best place to start is with a drawer. Going through the cutlery drawer and then following through with the next. We start with taking everything out of the drawer and only put back the items that we use.
From there we move to the cupboards, and pantry and create storage solutions so that everything has a place.
Linen Cupboards
This is a fun place to start. I love to talk people through the process and why we end up keeping so many of one item when we only ever need a few sets per bed. The same goes with towels, pillowcases. Once this area is decluttered and organised it brings so much peace. I love the 80/20 rule by the Home Edit. Keep 80% and have 20% space.
Children's Spaces
I love helping with decluttering children's bedrooms and toy rooms. There's always a large selection of toys and things they may have outgrown or maybe just have too many of. Once we edit, we can come up with storage solutions so everything has a place to go when it comes to pack up time.
Garages & Storage areas
Garages and sheds hold a lot of things that don't have a home. With my help, we can edit and then if required set up shelving so everything has a home.
